Amazing place to stay! Couldn’t recommend more! The kitchen is well equipped with the Webber bbq and fridge. Hot showers. Elaine leaves some home made muesli and bread and jams. So warm and cozy. Also there is a delightful outdoor spa which was warm on arrival. Can’t wait to come back!!!

We loved every minute here! Bacon was delicious, hot tub was amazing even stayed hot all night and we managed to get a 2nd dip in the morning – planning our next stay already ☺️

THIS IS PLACE IS JUST MAGICAL! Elaine and Allan are very nice, approachable and humble. They are always welcoming and smiling that will make your stay more memorable. The yurt is surrounded with a body of water, ducks, cows, volcanic rocks and a beautiful cotton candy skies!Aside from the amazing views, what I love most about our stay is the couple’s hospitality! Allan also gave us a farm tour during our 2N stay. We will recommend the place to our friends and families!

Elaine’s place was the perfect getaway! It is situated in the middle of some incredible gardens in a beautiful part of New Zealand that travellers don’t often see. The place itself is wonderful with all the amenities you could hope for, including some fantastic homemade and home grown breakfast foods! We loved our time in this idyllic place and we’d be back again in an instant.

Very homely place, great location, rural NZ at its best, nice home grown B & E for brekkie, the view was outstanding. great value for money and hosts being very flexible with arrival/departure times made it even more enjoyable. We will be back thats for sure!

This place is paradise. We absolutely loved the cottage and surroundings. Peace and quiet, perfect getaway. Comfy bed, so much space in the cottage and beautiful wooden furniture. Breakfast was provided – fresh eggs, yum! – and Elaine even showed us around the property on our last morning. We wished we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the scenery more, but I’m sure we will be back. Highly recommended!
