WOW!!! I almost don’t want to tell people how amazing this place is because I want it all for myself. Like all the other reviews suggest…this place is magical

Incredible little getaway. Fireplace made it ridiculously cosy on a cold night, everything you need for a night or two off the grid. Loved the make it yourself breakfast (including eggs from the farm)

This was the first time my wife and I have tried glamping, and we absolutely loved it! We were greeted with a very warm and welcoming reception from our awesome host, Elaine, who explained everything to us and how it all worked. The yurt was beautiful and very well set up for two people with everything you need there, including a fireplace which made the yurt very warm and cozy during a cold night. There is a nice little kitchenette where you can prepare all your food. Breakfast items were provided that you can prepare for yourself (farm fresh eggs, organic bacon, toast and a few other things) – delicious. The hot tub under the stars was awesome. At first I struggled with the thought of using a composting toilet, but it was actually fine once you get used to it. There is also a nice hot shower to freshen up. In the morning we went for a stroll around the farm land to admire the stunning beauty of the surrounds. This place is for people looking to escape the big smoke and relax and leave the cares of the big city behind. For those who struggle to disconnect from their phones, there is strong 4G coverage out there in the middle of nowhere 🙂 So to sum up, great location! great yurt! great hosts! great facilities! About as close to perfection as we could get! Highly recommended.

The description of Wairua cottage is exactly what it is but more. Beautiful rural scenery, the pool, privacy and the awesome host Elaine. Perfect getaway from the city life! Would definitely recommend and will return again in a couple of months.

Elaine and Allan are both very accomodating and nice. They go beyond what is expected and their place is awesome! The view was amazing and very relaxing. Would sure be back again next time! Fresh fruits, eggs, bacon from their farm are great!

The photos do not do this place justice, it is absolute paradise, so private and quiet with the most lovely finishing touches. Cannot fault Elaine’s place in any way.

Absolutely beautiful. The place was even better than we thought it would be. The hot tub was fantastic to relax in and the space is quiet and you are very much left to your self. On arrival we met Elaine and she was so helpful and lovely, will definitely return to this gorgeous accommodation. Just what I needed to get out the hustle and bustle of city life for a night. Could have spent the entire week there!!!!
